The dystopian electronic sound of MILKBLOOD just about summarises this year. It feels both futuristic, and genuinely alarming at times. Crunchy, wailing synth sounds make up the crux of the track, with interludes of industrial percussion adding a certain threat. The two-piece have just dropped their mesmerising debut EP, VOID, and this track is accompanied by a world-class music video directed by Mike Diva. They describe ‘SICK OF BEING HONEST’ as “the most honest example of us expressing ourselves as producers without barriers.” Be on the lookout for more from these experimentalists. -Dan Peeke
